Success Secrets From A Rugby Union Hero - Do Not Cut Corners!

In November 2003, Jonny Sir Geoffrey Wilkinson scored the points that South Korean won the rugby football labor union human race cup for England. Millions watched spellbound as he aimed a driblet boot at the Australian posts. He had already missed three driblet kicks.

This boot went over. England had won. Jonny immediately became a hero to millions. Four old age later, in 2007, the cup is being played for again. This time, squads will vie in French Republic rather than in Australia.

Since the historical 2003 triumph by England, Jonny have had one hurt after another preventing him from playing for his baseball club or for England. However, he is currently suit and able to play. Every England protagonist trusts he will play in France.

Jonny is a thoughtful and joint hero who is capable of analyzing the grounds for his success. Success is of import to him but he makes not depend on success for his happiness. As long as he sets in adequate work to rate success, he is reasonably content:

"I can't always win but I can always rate to."

Jonny is a great fly one-half and a fierce tackler but a immense portion of his value to his squad lies in his end kicking abilities. He is one of the most dependable and accurate kickers in the world. He can be relied on to kick punishment goals, seek transitions and driblet ends (the point scoring boots in rugby football union).

He keeps his kicking ability by changeless practice. This is done mainly on his own. As he plays for Newcastle in the North East of England, he often have to develop in cold and inhospitable conditions. It would be easy to travel place early.

Who would know? Jonny have a typical reply to this question:

"I would. Cutting corners is not my way. I ground that if I develop harder and better than anyone else, I will come up out on top. Others might acquire lucky every now and again but, the manner I look at it, life have to supply a wages for all the attempt in the end."

He is willing to give up the pleasances enjoyed by most of his chaps so that he can pass more than clip on the preparation field. Drinking after the game have always been a immense portion of the civilization of rugby. It is not portion of Jonny's culture!

The last clip Jonny drank alcoholic beverage was in June 2003. After the human race cup triumph in November, he only drank a couple of diet cokes to celebrate.

Jonny recognizes that the benefits of a difficult preparation session can be lost by eating unhealthy nutrient afterwards. Major keys to achieving success, in general, are staying alive and keeping healthy and this agency feeding healthy food.

Jonny makes not eat sweets, biscuits or chocolate. He even go throughs gifts of Easter eggs on to person else! He makes not let himself to take even one bite. He would repent such as a bite as a mark of mental weakness.

Like the scouts, whose slogan is 'Be Prepared' Jonny believes in preparing for each game by pattern and more than practice. He summarizes up his positions with another memorable phrase:

"Preparation is power."

Jonny have been accused of being an obsessive. At the human race cup, person described him as a 'basket case'. He accepts this verbal description because he believes you have got to set up obsessively if you desire victory:

"When Iodine travel out on the pitch, I desire to look at my opposite figure and experience as if I am stronger, quicker and better than he is. I necessitate to believe that whatever he throws at me, I will be more than than equal to it. For that to happen, I have got got to set up obsessively."

Many people give up on their dreaming of becoming an expert when the changeless repeat needed to attain the degree of a maestro or kept woman goes boring.

They don't recognize that overcoming this ennui and just focusing on what they have to make is the lone manner to accomplish the wages of mastery. The consequence of hours of attempt and deadening repeat is anything but boring.

The skater falls on his or her rear 100s of modern times before we see them gliding effortlessly like Gods and goddesses around the water ice rink. They pattern the same moves over and over again until they look natural and graceful.

In 2003 all the deadening work that Jonny had set in led to a driblet end which changed Jonny's human race and his squad mates' world. They were now human race champions.

That glorious and human race celebrated driblet boot was not the consequence of luck. It was the consequence of 1 drilling repeat after another as Jonny practiced boot after boot after every one else had gone home.

Some people halt practising because they are no longer 'enjoying the training'. They make not recognize that enjoyment come ups and travels and that most of the enjoyment come ups from the consequences of their training.

I never really enjoyed playing in rugby football fits because, as a forward, you seldom had a opportunity to run with the ball. You spent all your clip shoving and pushing and struggling with the resistance to acquire clasp of the ball so that the dorsums could run with it and take the glorification of scoring a try.

Quite often, they would drop the difficult South Korean won ball or neglect to go through it on at the right minute and the whole procedure would begin again. However, after the game was over, I loved the feeling of having made an all out effort. Of course, your enjoyment was much greater if your squad had won the game.

Training in the Martial humanistic discipline can be deadening and even painful but, eventually, if you maintain going, the deadening preparation consequences in the satisfaction of achieving your achromatic belt.

The twenty-four hours after I gained my first Taekwondo achromatic belt was a twenty-four hours of joyousness in malice of the fact that I had to revolve out of my bed in a consecutive line because of the hurting in my side where I had been kicked in the ribs.

All the preparation and attempt then seemed worthwhile. A achromatic belt makes not intend you are invulnerable but it makes symbolize the fact that you have got got trained very difficult to accomplish a worthwhile end and have succeeded.

We can all put similar ends and bask the euphoria and the sense of improved accomplishment and powerfulness that come ups with achieving them.

Jonny would work on his topographic point kicking (when the ball is kicked from the ground) after a twenty-four hours of visible light training. He didn't set a clip bounds on these Sessions and some would endure as long as three hours.

After a heavy day's training, he would drill his driblet boots (when the ball bouncinesses just before or as you kick it). He would kick at least twenty with his left ft and twenty with his right.

He depicts his preparation during the human race cup tourney itself:

"I made certain Iodine hit 40 driblet ends every day, twenty off each foot, so by the clip of the final, I had probably kicked something like 7,000 driblet ends in four months."

Jonny plays the odds. He believes that the harder he works, the more than likely he is to succeed. But there are no warrants of success. He missed his first three driblet end efforts against Australia.

However, he believes that the scales of measurement will eventually balance. He will, in the end, acquire out of the lucifer the energy that he sets in.

His 4th driblet end went over. It is probably the most celebrated driblet end in history.

Jonny is now followed every where by photographers. He makes not want; nor makes he bask fame. He would play rugby football 'if lone 1 adult male and his domestic dog was watching'. He loves the game for its ain sake.

What were the secrets of his success? They are not really secrets at all. Like most 'secrets' they have got been known to world since the start of history. However, they are still secrets to those who are not yet aware of them:

You cannot warrant success but you can make the work necessary to rate success.

You should be prepared to drill your core accomplishments even if this agency drilling repeat in a tough and alone environment after every 1 else have gone home. Accept that ennui is inevitable at modern times when acquisition any skill.

Do not cut corners. Train or work harder than any 1 else. Eventually, the existence will honor you for your attempt in some manner or other.

Give up any pleasances that mightiness impede your improvement. Eat healthy nutrient so that you make not destruct the benefits of your training. Avoid alcohol.

Prepare thoroughly even if other people believe you are crazy. Preparation is power.

Enjoyment may not always come up up while you develop but it will usually come as a consequence of your training.

Practice, sometimes, by setting a bounds on what you be after to make and, at other times, make not put a limit.

Realize that famous person is not of import and will not last. Doing what you love, with one hundred percentage effort, is far more than of import and the consequent satisfaction will endure for the remainder of your life.

If I Gave You A Valuable Advice, What Would You Do With It?

I bet you are like me. I receive tens, and sometimes hundreds, of advices everyday.

Sometimes I receive advice from normal people, and other times it is from well recognized experts. Some advices are crap and others are really valuable.

You need to be wise to get the most out of every advice you receive.

"Many receive advice, only the wise profit from it" – Publilius Syrus

Hats off to the wise man!

Imagine that top successful people in the world are available to share with you their pure wisdom and help you achieve massive success in your life, what would you do?

That is what our world is like today. The self improvement industry is booming. More and more successful people are coming out everyday to share their success secrets and insights. With the power of the internet, their teachings can spread all over the world in a matter of seconds.

The disappointing thing is that a very few people are really leveraging on that valuable information and a very few of them are really using it to truly improve their life and wildly succeed.

But why is that? And what does it take to develop the right mindset to take every advice and profit from it?

To answer this question, I have to dig into my own personal experience. It took me 6 years of searching for the answers. I was totally distracted and lost. And one day I got it. I was able to change my whole life once I discovered the answers. Now I know exactly how to pick up a valuable advice and how to profit from it. I interviewed over 50 of the most successful people in the world (like Mike Litman, Joe Rubino, Tony Marino, Charlene Proctor, and many more) and they all agree on the same concept.

To develop a wiser mindset and to profit from every advice, you need to have focus.

And to have focus, you need to find your true purpose in life.

When you have a clear purpose, your mind will act like a huge magnet that attracts what is needed to fulfill that purpose. You will have tremendous power when your time and energy are focused on one sole purpose.

In sum, to be effective and to leverage on the valuable advice you receive, you need to design your own filtration system. Your mind receives tons of information – valuable and invaluable - everyday. Having a clear purpose gives you the ability to know exactly what you want and how to pick up and leverage on a valuable advice you receive.

Starting today, focus all your efforts on finding your true purpose in life. Ask yourself, "why am I here? What am I meant to do in this life? What do I love? What am I good at? How can I serve others in the best way possible?"

I know no other way to become the wisest man you could be.

And remember…

No purpose, No focus.

No purpose, No Life.

Autopilot For Your Brain Or - How I Programmed Myself For Success

Thirty years ago I went through a change and I had no idea how important it was going to be in my life. I learned that I could program my brain for success. I learned that IF I got the autopilot in my brain working, I would get what I wanted. All I had to do was program the autopilot.

Let me step back twenty-five years.

I was young (30) and had just finished my first career in journalism and production. I worked with some fabulous people. We worked hard and fast. I finished my last job running a large operation and wanted a change. I was burned out. I still wanted to create, but not daily journalism. I moved to the west coast and started my search.

But I was filled with an anxiousness that ate me up. The 'buzz' of daily news and public affairs was gone. I joined a production firm and began producing… but I was consumed with negative thoughts: Was this the right move? Will I be successful? Is this what I want to do? Will this work take advantage of my talents?

I couldn't relax. I probably sent out all kinds of negative thoughts and, without knowing it, they influenced everything around me.

Then I ran into a man named John Kehoe. He was in the early stages of developing his "Mind Power" business, which 25 years later, is a stunning success. Mind Power was, and is, a straightforward, effective system based on the power of thought and the power of the subconscious mind. John taught me the power of affirmations and visualization and how to program my subconscious with positive, subliminal thoughts that would go in… and start working for me.

I had to get rid of the negative, self-effacing, limited thinking I was trapped in. If you've ever been there, you know it's a hard habit to break.

It didn't take long. It was only a couple of months later that I remember driving to work thinking how relaxed I was. I wasn't worried about today, or tomorrow, or the job. I was pumped. I was being very productive and opportunities were surfacing everywhere. I remember consciously thinking 'this stuff works. I am changing!"

I began to build my career… and continued the affirmations and subliminal cassettes in the car. Relaxing music that programmed my autopilot towards success.

I've had a great career…. and I'm not finished. I've travelled the world producing, met great people and had fabulous experiences. My wife and I have a great home, our health, great friends… and the future to look forward to.

And it ain't a mystery. All I did was learn how to program my subconscious to believe in and go after my goals. I can't imagine my life if I didn't learn this very simple skill.

Spin forward to today. Recently I attracted into my life people with the talent and perfect blend of audio and video that would allow me to produce a tool that might help others re-program their brain's autopilot… their powerful subconscious mind.

First came the visuals: beautiful reef fish shot in clear blue waters around the world.

Then a singer with a range that still stuns me. And not just a 'singer'. Jerry DesVoignes is a Tuvan, or Tibetan, 'throat singer'. That means he can produce two to four different tones in his singing voice at the same time.

Then the two key musicians who watched the video footage and just played their feelings on their instruments as they watched. Magical. Then an audio engineer who cared.

We then produced eight separate audio tracks, seven of them with healthy, subliminal affirmations in areas like: Promoting Health & Healing; Creating Intimacy & Sexuality; Producing Weight loss; Creating Confidence & Self-Esteem; Enhancing Sleep & Dreams; Releasing Stress & Anxiety; Creating Wealth & Prosperity.

We now have a DVD with eight hours of audio and video with healthy affirmations in key areas in my life. Maybe your life too. You can read the affirmations so you know the messages that will go into your subconscious as you watch the DVD. Or download the MP3 audio files to listen to on your MP3 player anywhere you like.

We call it "Blue Water 88" because there are 88 subliminal affirmations, along with eight hours of mesmerizing music and visuals.

I've got my brain working ensuring I always move forward towards success and what makes me happy. One of my goals is to create tools that help people learn and be successful.

How to Make a Million Dollars - Step Seven

Previously I have discussed five steps towards making a Million Dollars. These were passion, hard work, perseverance, the ability to cope with failure and still continue and belief in yourself and that you could do it. The next one I would recommend would be focus. Sure this is similar to a few of the others, but not quite.

Many people start off with a vision of that Million Dollars. And they are passionate and hardworking and they will try many new things to get to that goal. There lies the problem. Trying many new things. They bounce around, putting effort and passion into this idea, for about a week, then they put the same effort and passion into another idea the next week. I have seen many people do this. They are doing this even at home, or in relationships, or in starting a new hobby, in fact in many areas of their life.

I suppose it stems from the fact that we live in such an instant gratification society that we are not prepared to work at something for a long period of time. We might spend a year, or maybe just a few months on trying this particular business venture.

But if you look at some of the people who have made it big, they didn't do this overnight. Even Bill Gates spent many years hiking DOS, around the operating system before his Windows System, trying to sell it. The Google boys didn't do it overnight and as for Amazon, they spent years before they posted their first profit. The years before that involved many instances of groveling for more funds to keep the company afloat.

When you decide you want to make a lot of money then you have to stay focused. Decide on what you are passionate about, put some mega hard work into it, stay on track with your perseverance and don't allow set backs to stop you. But over and above all of this, keep your focus on the one thing that you are passionate about and that will ultimately make you your money.

I am sure there are many people who look at their bank account, read some inspiring report on how Madonna made her millions, or Paul Getty drilled for oil, or Richard Branson took a chance on music and many more stories. So they are like kids in a toy store, trying out different get rich quick schemes. They might dabble in property because somebody has written about that. Or they might try their luck on the stock exchange. Or lo and behold, there is the internet where scores of people are making huge money in a few days. Now that's where I should be.

Every time you change focus, you lose some momentum, and often you even lose some of your invested money. Keep your focus. Don't expect to make money overnight. For that buy a lotto ticket. Oh that one didn't work for you either? Neither for me. Get your mind around what you are passionate about and focus on that one thing.

Don't get caught by quick fix solutions. They don't work. Anybody who tells you it worked for them, they are lying. They are making up success stories to impress their audience. You need to know better. There is no such thing. Keep your focus. Remember those Karate Kid movies? My kids loved them. And I loved watching them with the two of them. And focus was the main principle behind those, slightly unlikely - but then its Hollywood isn't it - stories. The principle of the story stood though, Hollywood or not.
